Bobbit the Beginnings

Down the hill she rolled in the small sack they had thrown her in until she landed in a ditch; Bobbit was now alone. Scared and wet she struggled to get out of the sack she had been put in wondering all the while what she had done wrong to be thrown out. She pulled out a little piece of glass she always carried and managed to cut a hole big enough to get out. She slowly crawled out of the bag and up the hill looking around her trying to figure out where she was.

Bobbit was naturally a tiny person; she was born that way much like the stories of Tom Thumb and Thumbelina. Her story was different however, she wasn't wanted like Tom Thumb or Thumbelina, she, was given up by everyone she had come across. First it was her parents, then the family that raised her, and now her most recent family who was tired of her just threw her to the side of the road. Once again she would have to find someone new and that is where our story begins.

Bobbit walked around aimlessly until she came across a quaint little neighborhood. There was green grass, and cars, and many families outside enjoying themselves. She read the signs of the streets as she walked until she found one that looked interesting. She slowly walked down that street tired, thirsty and exhausted from the heat. She collapsed on the front porch of a random house and just laid there shivering and feeling sick. Then, by chance, the cat from inside the house escaped as his owner opened the door; the cat looked down at her and picked her up with his teeth right before the owner took the cat inside. The cat quickly ran to the very back room where he dropped her in the corner and ran off.

She looked around her not knowing where she was but the first thing she saw was a fish tank full of fishes. She stood up and saw a blanket and climbed up the blanket onto the bed. No one was in the room yet so she explored it. Bobbit ran up and down the bed and bounced around happily. She found a glass of soda and took a few sips of it feeling better with each one. She went up to the fish tank and made faces at the fish shaking her butt like she was one of them. Bobbit crawled back off the bed and walked around on the nice soft carpet where she sees a computer. She gets excited as she runs over and jumps on the chair and onto the desk looking at the beautiful picture on the screen. Then, all of a sudden, she hears someone coming.

Bobbit dived behind one of the computer monitors as a young man came into the room and sat down in front of the computer. He sat there for a while looking sad and bored. She peaked around the corner her heart going a hundred miles per hour as she looked for an escape route. She saw a way out not realizing the man heard her moving around and with a blink of an eye she took off and when she did he caught her with a glass jar. "Let me out!!!! Let me out!!!!" she screamed and yelled as he held the glass jar tight over her. He looked at her with a confused look on his face as she struggled to try and get out. He tapped on the glass and told her to calm down or he would not let her out. She sat down with a pouty look on her face and listened to what he had to say.

"Who are you? How did you get in here? And why are you next to my computer!?" He said in a calm but half excited voice.
She looked at him with her eyebrow raised and stuck her nose up in the air like a snob.
"OK." He said. "You will just stay in here then."
She looked around as her stomach growled and her mouth began to get dry and decided to not be stubborn. "If you must know my name is… Bobbit" She goes on to explain how she was kicked out and how she almost died in a sack. "Well, you can stay here for now until we can find a better place for you." Said the young man whose name she found out was Devi. He let her out of the jar and gave her food and water and made her a small bed for her to stay in. She laid in the bed and snuggled up in the tiny blankets with a big smile on her face, happier and better treated then she had ever been.
